Race to the Finish Scholarship

Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time at FSU with a major in the College of Business, Engineering, Computational and Mathematical Sciences with a a major in accounting, computer science and information technologies, economics, engineering, management, marketing and finance, or mathematics; or, the College of Education, Health & Natural Sciences with a major in biology, educational professions or nursing. The recipient(s) will have completed a minimum of 72 credits. The recipient(s) must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Preference (in order of importance) will be given to students who: a) have senior status (90+ credits) meeting the criteria listed in part b; b) have been identified by the Registrar’s Office and evaluated by the Director of Financial Aid. Determining factors may include any one or more of the following: 1) a “hold” on the recipient’s student billing account because of an unpaid balance, thereby preventing the student from registering for the next semester. 2) Other financial hardship that inhibits a student from registering; OR c) have demonstrated financial need.
