Cumberland Valley Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled full-time at FSU in pursuit of a career in human resources as evidenced by active membership in the FSU Society for Human Resource Management student chapter. The recipient(s) must be a junior or senior and have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants are required to submit a resume, short essay (2-4 paragraphs; typed) “Why I have chosen Human Resources as a Career,” and one letter of reference. Preference will be given to applicants who have shown active interest in the field of Human Resources by previous scholarship, research/internship, membership, or by avocation. An interview may be conducted by the Cumberland Valley Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship Awards Committee prior to selection.
