Dr. John (Jack) and Ruby Riley Elementary Education Scholarship

The recipient must be a full-time junior or senior with a declared major in elementary education with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. Applicants must have demonstrated interest in elementary education as shown by previous scholarship, research, membership, or by avocation. Preference given to residents of Allegany, Garrett, or Washington counties. Awards may be received for two consecutive years if an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better is maintained. In the event of equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need and academic ability.
