American Legion Patriotism Scholarship

The recipient must be a dependent or descendant of a member in good standing of Farrady Post 24 American Legion with a minimum 2.7 grade point average and a declared major in any of the following: accounting, biology, business administration, chemistry, computer science, economics, education, environmental analysis and planning, foreign languages, general science, geography, history, international studies, law and society (justice studies), mathematics, physics, political science or wildlife/fisheries. Applicants must be a resident of Allegany or Garrett county for at least 5 years, and have graduated from a high school in either of these counties.
