Hedrick Teacher Excellence Award for Math/ Science

Recipients must have a declared major in education, following the pathway to the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program and majoring in their chosen secondary education field, or in the MAT program. The recipient must also have completed at least three upper-level mathematics or science classes with a major or concentration (24-hour specialization) in mathematics or physical science. A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Preference is given to non-traditional students and to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
