Allegany County Education Association Scholarship

Recipients must be enrolled full-time at FSU as a junior or senior with a declared major in education, as a senior following the pathway to the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program and majoring in their chosen secondary education field, or in the Secondary Education MAT program. Recipients must be graduates of an Allegany County high school in Maryland and have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants must complete an essay on “Why Education is my Career Choice.”
