McElfish Family Scholarship

First-time applicants must be enrolled full-time at FSU as an incoming freshman with an overall high school GPA of 3.5. The award may be renewed for three consecutive years as long as the student maintains a 3.0 overall GPA. Renewal applicants must complete the required scholarship application and FAFSA forms by established deadlines. Applicants must complete a current FAFSA form and submit it by published financial aid deadlines. Eligibility to receive this award will be determined by information submitted through FAFSA. Recipients will meet the following criteria: does not qualify for Pell Grants, must have demonstrated financial need which is determined by a professional review of the applicant’s financial situation.
