Joan K. and Robert S. Selby Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled full-time or part-time at FSU majoring in the Department of Sociology OR the Department of Social Work. The recipient(s) must have an overall grade point average not greater than 3.0. Applicants must: a) exemplify participation in significant community service endeavors (i.e. volunteer activities); and b) demonstrate motivation and maturity, and an ability to accept a high level of responsibility as evidenced by leadership experience in extra-curricular, volunteer activities, and/or campus clubs and organizations. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need. Need is determined by applicants’ completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
