Geography Scholarship In Memory of Ivan C. Diehl

The recipient must have a declared major in Geography, Earth Sciences, or Environmental Science with a completed minimum of 9 hours in geography and at least 45 credit hours total. A minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average in the major and a minimum cumulative 3.0 FSU grade point average is required. Preference will be given to entering junior students. Once awarded, the scholarship may be maintained for up to four semesters or until graduation as long as other eligibility criteria are met. Should multiple students be eligible, the Scholarship Committee shall consider the following factors in order of priority: 1) GPA in geography, 2) GPA in all course work, 3) financial need, 4) participation in extra-curricular activities.
