Dr. Harold and Geraldine Delaney Leadership Award

Applicants must be enrolled full-time at Frostburg State University with demonstrated participation in leadership programs and student activities as sponsored through the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. Applicants must have demonstrated participation as shown by involvement in student leadership and volunteer programs sponsored by the department of Student Engagement, Residence Life, and other student leadership programs as identified by the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. The recipient(s) must have an FSU overall grade point average of 2.5 or better. Preference in order of importance: a) Renewal Applicants. Awards may be received for three consecutive years if an overall grade point average of 2.5 or better is maintained and the student remains an active member of the qualifying leadership program. b) In the event of equally qualified applicants a preference will be given to applicants with a declared academic minor in “leadership studies” or other similar programs as developed by the university in the future. c) In the event of equally qualified applicants a preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated academic ability.
