Tyrone Adams '87 and Sandra Wyche Adams '86 Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled full-time at FSU majoring in one or more of the following: Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering, Mathematics, Biology, Wildlife & Fisheries, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Social Science, Social Work, Strategic Communication, Emerging Media, English, Foreign Languages, History, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Theatre, Dance, or Visual Arts. The recipient will be a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time the award is received (30 or more credit hours). The recipient(s) must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Preference will be given to applicants who have graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools and/or Baltimore County Public Schools. Preference will be given to applicants in the following order of importance: (1) academic ability (2) demonstrated financial need. Need is determined by applicants’ completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
