Hazel Dent Teaching Scholarship

Recipients must be enrolled full-time at FSU with a declared major in education, following the pathway to the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program and majoring in their chosen secondary education field, or in the MAT program. Recipients must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 and be residents of Allegany, Garrett, or Washington County (MD). The scholarship is renewable for up to four years. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need. Need is determined by applicants’ completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
