University Police Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled full-time or part-time at FSU and have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants will demonstrate desire to pursue a career in law enforcement or public safety as evidenced by essay and extra-curricular, academic and community service activities (i.e. police explorers, fire and rescue, etc.) Preference may be given to students with a major in Criminal and Legal Studies, enrollment in the Law/Juris Doctor combined program, or major in similar programs as developed by Frostburg State University. Preference will be given to applicants having demonstrated financial need. Need is determined by applicants’ completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
