Dr. J. Hopwood and Karen Wooddell Scholarship

The recipient must be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at FSU. The recipient must have graduated from high school in Garrett County, Maryland, and be accepted at FSU or have an overall grade point average of 3.0. Awards may be received for four consecutive years if an overall grade point average of at least 2.8 is maintained. In the event of equally qualified applicants, a preference will be given to those who graduated from Southern High School and then for those with demonstrated financial need.
