Hedrick Teacher Excellence Award for Math/ Science

The recipient must be a declared education major (secondary, K-12) who has completed at least three upper-level mathematics or science classes with a major or concentration (24-hour specialization) in mathematics or physical science. Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program are eligible to apply. A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Preference is given to non-traditional students and to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
