Eleanor Porter Tennant Elementary Education Scholarship

The recipient must be a declared education major in elementary education pursuing an undergraduate degree, full-time, or an elementary education major pursuing a graduate education degree, enrolled for six hours or more, or other programs as developed by the University for similar undergraduate or graduate studies in the future. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better with demonstrated interest in elementary education as shown by previous scholarship, research, membership or avocation. Preference is given to renewal applicants, and the award may be received for two consecutive years. In the event of equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated academic ability.
