Joshua Powell Special Education Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled with a declared major in special education and have a demonstrated interest in special education as shown by previous scholarship, research, membership or by avocation. The recipient must declare a career intent to teach or work in a setting directly benefitting special education students. Applicants may receive the award for two consecutive years if satisfactory academic progress is maintained. In the event of equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to those with demonstrated experience with special education students.
