Martha T. and Ralph M. Race Western History Scholarship

The recipient may be an undergraduate or transfer student, a teacher returning to change subject area or a postgraduate student who is at least a junior or senior and who will be pursuing teacher education certification with a demonstrated record of completed history courses. Applicants must have declared an intent to teach Western History at the high school or secondary level and have demonstrated ability in the study of history with a grade point average of 3.0 or better in history courses and a minimum 2.8 grade point average overall.
