Jeanette and C. William Gilchrist Art Scholarship
The recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time at FSU and have a 3.0 or better grade point average with an intention to declare a major in art and design and/or pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching with art education certification. Recipients may be either undergraduate or graduate students. Applicants must have demonstrated interest in art and design as shown by previous scholarship, portfolio, membership, or avocation. The recipient(s) will be selected based upon participation in an art program, portfolio review, contest, exhibition or similar activity as administered by the Department of Visual Arts or its successor in support of Visual Art studies. Preference will be given to: (1) renewal applicants; and (2) in the event of equally qualified applicants, applicants with academic ability.
