Anthony Wai Chiu Tam Science Achievement Award

Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time at FSU pursuing a degree in the Department of Chemistry and Physics, the Department of Engineering, a dual degree program leading to a degree in engineering, or a related major as developed by Frostburg State University in the future. The recipient(s) will have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Preference will be given to applicants who have: a) demonstrated ability in the sciences as evidenced by previous involvement in science and/or research related competitions and programs, and b) desire to pursue multi-cultural or global education. Documentation and/or description of the above should be included as part of the applicant’s essay and/or supporting materials. The donor prefers to support incoming freshmen with the possibility for renewal in the second year. Note: Renewal applicants must submit scholarship application through the Office of Financial Aid to be considered.
