Sigma Tau Gamma Alumni
A group of about fifteen Sigma Taus who graduated in the 1960’s have gathered in Ocean City for a beach weekend every March for over twenty years. The brothers enjoy these annual reunions where they share the same old stories from when they were on campus at Frostburg State.
In 2011, the alumni decided they would like to make a lasting gift to to Frostburg State University in the form of an endowed scholarship. They “passed the hat” to raise money for a fund in memory of Brother Jim Graham (Class of ’63) and in honor of Brother Hank Heller (Class of ’64). In the first year, they raised more than $20,000 and began making annual awards to deserving students who demonstrate a commitment to community service.
